Meet the winner of the maiden edition of the Live Feeds, FUTA. Face of The Week (Male Category).

Here we have Auta Kings, a 300 level student of the department of Meteorology And Climate Science . A young entrepreneur and businessman on campus. We've got a lot of lessons we learnt from  him, enjoy the experience!

 Good evening, Can we meet you ?

"I'm Auta Kingsley. Also known as Auta Kings. I'm a poet, Artist and a graphics designer. A 300 level student of the department of Meteorology and Climate Science, FUTA".

 Why did you choose the course meteorology and climate science ?

 Actually, I didn't pick the course. It picked me. I put in for Architecture. But as God made me have it, I was brought to Meteorology and Climate Science.

 So if you have a fresher who was given the course and was in the same predicament as you. I mean the candidate didn't choose the course but was given. How could you explain the course to stir up the student interest ?

"Well, it's really a nice course but to make headway in the department one needs to give in his/her  academic strength because I must say only the strong can withstand the tide in the department. Determination and focus is key"

 Were your parents okay with the course ?

"At first they didn't like the idea of accepting what I didn't put in for.But I couldn't afford to stay on more year at home so I just accepted and so far the journey has been rough and enjoyable.They don't have any choice but to love it."

 Meteorology is not a bad course, is it?

"Absolutely not, It's very interesting.What makes it boring and make students overwork themselves are the borrowed courses,They are just too many."

 You mentioned being a poet, artist and graphics designer, how do you combine this with your academics ?

"I love to multitask myself. Having to do just one thing is boring to me. I plan my schedule very well so everything I do has a dedicated time. Even time to hang out with friends and do other fun stuff".

So whats your source of income on campus?

"I write poems for people and get paid for it. I design and and brand flyers, posters et al for people and get paid. For lovers of art, I draw for them and get paid too."

Calculating that, you are a very wealthy young man now ?!

(Chuckles) "If you say so, I agree with you".

 So whats your relationship status ?

"I'm very much single and definitely not searching. The light I see ahead is too bright that I can't not any relationship."

 Great, where do you see yourself in future ?

"Well I'm working on myself. I have a brand I am building , Auta Kings Koncepts".

"It's a big project. I see Auta Kings Koncepts as a big brand everybody will want to work with in the nearest future".

Very tripping, what would you say makes you different from other students on campus ?

"Every student is focused on a particular goal. But I am working on four different projects and still making it loud. Like I always say,I'm a Science student performing Art in a Commercial way."

Great what impressive things would you say you have achieved so far ?

"So far I have been able to gain acceptance in FUTA, I walk in school and I get greetings from people I never knew telling me how they love my work. (basically I'm more focused on the poetry aspect of my brand).. I have been able to touch lifes through writing. For me that's my greatest achievement TOUCHING LIVES".

Impressive. What advice do you have for students reading this ?

"Life is simple but never easy  Find that one thing you're good at and you love doing. Make machandize of it. You're more than you think you've discovered of yourself. Always put God first and smile".

"You are the Hero you need".
